Okay... Emily asked me to write a blog about this. THe other day, Brian went into Emily's room to put her to bed... AND because her room was a disaster area... He SAID.....

"Emily, What on God's Green Earth did you do to your ROOM?"

Well Emily thought that was the funniest thing ever spoken and laughed hysterically about it. I came in and said, "What's so funny" and she said, "Did you hear what Daddy said, It was the funniest thing I've ever heard." I don't get it... but that's okay. :) That's our girl... A SILLY STINKER PANTS!!!!

I Have been writing Questions to Rosie O'Donnell on Rosie's BLOG for over a year now.... AND FINALLY SHE ANSWERED MY QUESTION.........Here it is:

Missy Writes:

Rosie, What do u really think about Hillary's referring to Bobby's assas. I find it really wrong... Did u see Keith O's Commentary on it. I agree completely with him on it. REally Stupid of her!!

i totally disagree with him

AND EVEN THOUGH WE DISAGREED, I WAS SO HAPPY SHE ANSWERED MY QUESTION. I'm such a dorky fan.... BUT I really do respect her alot and IT MADE MY DAY. I felt like I had won the LOTTERY. SO okay... It's the little things in life that make me HAPPY!!

OH and also.. We had a great Memorial Day. Went to the parade in Glassboro. It was really nice, then we had a BBQ afterwards. FUN FUN... I'll put up some pics of it later. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!!!!

Yard Work, and MORE...

Hello.... today has been a productive day. YAY!! We got a new lawn mower and did a thorough job on some yard projects we've been putting off. LIKE edging and weed whacking. So that feels nice to know well atleast for a few days our yard will look fairly good. The weather is gorgeous today and it's suppose to be a very nice weekend. YAY AGAIN!! We are going to my Aunt's house to watch the Memorial day parade on Monday, so I'm making Potato salad for it tomorrow. THat's always a major production. I always make WAAAYYYY to much. OH Well.... What can I say. That's how I'm use to making it from when I worked at the deli. Plus I LOVE IT!! Danielle and Tom and the kids are going to go with us to the parade so it should be extra fun this year. Oh I forgot to write this. We had a meeting at Emily's school to discuss her needs for next year. She's in special education, NOT becuase of her academic needs but because of her SOCIAL and PHYSICAL needs. It went well and we were all in agreement of what Emily still needs for next year. LIke Physical Therapy twice a week, and still getting a ONE ON ONE aide. SO like I said it went well. Emily's teacher... Miss M, said something that was AMAZING. SHe said, "IN ALL MY YEARS OF TEACHING FIRST GRADE... EMILY IS THE "BEST" WRITER I HAVE EVER SEEN" She went on and on about Emily understanding the structure of a story and WE were so PROUD of EMily. I mean we knew she was smart but to hear this teacher who was teaching for like 20 years say that was really something. I was so PROUD of my daughter!! UMMM... OKAY, you know I have to go here...... WHAT WAS HILLARY CLINTON thinking??? That comment about the reasons she will not drop out and referencing Bobby Kennedy's Assasination!! I just can't understand why she did that. She's not stupid!!! IT'S just really stupid. If you read or listen to the words, it makes it seem as if she is saying well Assasinations happen and why would I drop out!!! I listen to it and that's what it sounds like to me. Plain and SIMPLE.... I don't know why she said it, but if it was truly just a mistake... she should be apologizing more sincerely about it! Especially this election--- it's just stupid to bring up assasination at any time but during this election. IT WAS JUST WRONG!!!

Anyway, we emailed one of the bands, that she sings their song. It was Vagiant and the song is Seven. We all really like it!! Anyway, they emailed us back, saying they really liked it and that EMILY WAS AWESOME! Emily was so excited!!! SHe kept saying, "the girls from Vagiant liked ME!!!" In her giddy way. It was a really cool thing for them to do. And it made EMily's day!!

Okay.. I realize that I was ranting in my last blog. I stand by everything I wrote!! But re-reading it, I realize that I was truly angry when I wrote it, because when we spend so much money fighting this war. I worry that if something like the China Earthquake or the Cyclone in Myanmar were to able to us, what would we do. OUR soldiers----So many of them are in Iraq fighting. That we have spent SO much money fighting Iraq!! What when we need it!! What happens then. WE aren't immune to it. 9/11 shows us that. Katrina shows us that. WE ARE THERE... What happens when we need it here? I go to my homepage.. I see the images of the horror of mother nature. I see the lives of it's victims and I worry.... WE should be doing more to help them.. BUT Can we? We have spend trillions of dollars in this war. BUT ask yourself... HAS IT BEEN WORTH IT?

Ooops.... He Does it Again!!!!

Okay, Again BUSH opens his mouth and OUT comes......... CRAP!! BTW.... What is wrong with trying to "TALK" to a country first before causing SHock and Awe on them. ISn't that what we've been taught since early in our lives... to talk it out first. BUsh is an idiot. As if Barack would only talk no matter what. He said he would be willing to "TALK" with Iran. IS that a bad thing? I teach Emily not to bully... Why is it okay to BULLY the world. Why is this Idiotic notion of FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, Okay! WHY???? I have every confidence that IF... ACTION was necessary... WE WOULD TAKE ACTION.....But why should we not try other things first. IF my love one was one of the soldiers... I would want them to try EVERYTHING first before putting our soldiers and their innocent citizens in danger. We should use negogiations and intellegence and all methods to try whatever we can first. I don't see anything wrong with that!!! This is why we are in this mess, because this administration DID NOT choose to DO EVERYTHING in their power BEFORE this WAR was started. UUUURRRGGGGHHHH!!!! It is frustrating. WE HAVE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY... LOST SO MANY OF OUR BEST.... AND THEIR INNOCENT citizens, who just like us are trying to live their lifes, Is it a 5 yr old iraqian boys fault that the leader of his country was BAD!! NO NO NO NO... .Just as it is not my 7 year old's fault that we have a goober running our country. BUT bomb's kill, and guns kill and the fact that we are there in their country kills, OKAY... so becuase it's not as bad as it once was, doesn't constitute that we are WINNING the war. WE can't forget all that has already been lost. And even if in the end... their are positive changes.. it doesn't change the facts .... It doesn't change the death toll, or the economic impact or the fact that it was wrong. The only thing that it means is that our soldiers are that good. That despite the stupidy of the war, our Soldiers are so good, they made positive changes, they knew they had to because for every friend that was lost to this war.... some good had to come of it!!! So do I repect the men and women in uniform.... OH YES, because what ever good that comes out of this war is a direct result of their bravery and commitment to doing their best!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

To Start off... MY mother's day has been really nice. Brian, Fernando and Emily made me a really BIG Wonderfully fabulous breakfast. Blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs and BACON!!! SO yummy-especially Emily's FUNNY BREAKFAST she made me- A PANCAKE BUILDING Complete with a blackberry chimney and door!! TOO CUTE. THe idea came from a HENRY AND MUDGE book called, "Henry and Mudge and the funny LUNCH". (They are a really cute series of books for kids!!) Brian also got me flowers!! Emily made me a cute little Flower clip magnet at school and a beautiful card. I'm the LUCKIEST Mom EVER!! I've had a really great weekend in general.... Well except for THE BLISTERS on my feet!! But that's okay... I went and saw Rosie O'Donnell in NYC in NO NO NANETTE, It was really cute and Rosie was Awesome in it. SO FUN!! I went with Danielle, We had a lot of fun.... BUT I wore New shoes and we walked a bit and I have such BAD BLISTERS on my feet. When we were in Penn Station waiting for our train.... I Had to buy FLIP FLOPS..... plastic cheap looking $25 DOLLAR FLIP FLOPS!!! At the time, I didn't care... I would have paid $50!!! The relief, THE RELIEF... It was well worth it!!! ALSO, I know this sounds a little STALKER-ISH but I was SO excited because in the LOBBY was KELLI (Rosie's Wife) and their kids... OH MY GOD!! It was really cool. I didn't say anything to her or them but it was cool becuase I feel like I know them from Rosie's BLOG. SO it was NEAT to see them in person. She's really pretty and the kids were so CUTE. IT was a really fun day!! The play was really funny, it took place in I think the 1920's or 30's! It was really clean and a little OLD fashion but in a sweet fun innocent way. REFRESHING!! Anyway, like I said it was a very FUN weekend. I'm LUCKY, TRULY LUCKY to have such blessings in my life and I NEED TO REMIND MYSELF OF THEM SOMETIMES!!! Anyway, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MOMS OUT THERE... Especially My neice, in which this is her first.. PEACE PEOPLE!!

Margaret Bory

born Nov. 19,1949
died May 9, 2001

No time to celebrate the miracle
No time to become good friends
NO time to say enough
NO time to make amends

Your life was over in a moment
Even though it took several years
Fighting it was exhausting
Trying to hide the tears

In just a different way
A spirit and connection
Thought of each and everyday

By Missy

An Emily Dickinson Poem

A Poem by Emily Dickinson.....

I MEASURE every grief I meet
With analytic eyes;
I wonder if it weighs like mine,
Or has an easier size.

I wonder if they bore it long,
Or did it just begin?
I could not tell the date of mine,
It feels so old a pain.

I wonder if it hurts to live,
And if they have to try,
And whether, could they choose between,
They would not rather die.

I wonder if when years have piled—
Some thousands—on the cause
Of early hurt, if such a lapse
Could give them any pause;

Or would they go on aching still
Through centuries above,
Enlightened to a larger pain
By contrast with the love.

The grieved are many, I am told;
The reason deeper lies,—
Death is but one and comes but once,
And only nails the eyes.

There ’s grief of want, and grief of cold,—
A sort they call “despair”;
There ’s banishment from native eyes,
In sight of native air.

And though I may not guess the kind
Correctly, yet to me
A piercing comfort it affords
In passing Calvary,

To note the fashions of the cross,
Of those that stand alone,
Still fascinated to presume
That some are like my own.

Okay, SO I'm not a celebrity or a high power player in Washington.....BUT I am ME and I would like BARACK OBAMA to be our next president. They say that Hillary is getting the WHITE WOMAN's vote, well not from this one. I only wish I lived in NC right now!!! I really think that Barack would make a terrific president. He represents everything that is right about America. His vision of America is the vision that we all should want as citizens of this country. That the dreams that we have as young children, are available to us. That it doesn't matter what your race, or gender, or circumstances are, that you can dream big and achieve. I think he has the intellegence and the heart to be a great president. For all of those that say he isn't experienced enough----He was a Illinois Senator from 1996 and a US Senator since 2004. SO I think he has plenty of experience and also I'm reminded of an OIL Man, BASEBALL OWNER, and someone who only had 5 YEARS experience as GOVERNOR of TEXAS who became our president. By my calculations Obama has MORE experience in life and work than our current President. It is my opinion that our current President got elected unfairly, and mostly based on his relationship to his father. And remember also THIS IS THE PRESIDENT WHO DECLARED "Mission Accomplished" 5 YEARS ago in Iraq and we are still there and our brave men are fighting and dying for a war that should have never been and according to our president is ACCOMPLISHED. OUR SOLDIERS are so brave and so good and they deserve SO MUCH MORE. I respect our soldiers immensely and they have fought long enough. SO it is with GREAT PRIDE and GREAT CONFIDENCE that I ANNOUNCE I AM THROWING MY SUPPORT TO BARACK OBAMA!!! SO, IF YOU COME ACCROSS my little BLOG AND ARE STILL UNSURE..... PLEASE VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA!!!! OH YEAH and if you're STILL not convinced that Barack has ENOUGH experience.....HOW ABOUT THIS? Intellegence TRUMPS Experience always, there are alot of experienced people out there, that are really STUPID!! :) JUST MY THOUGHTS!!!
